Nina Reeves
Nina Reeves graduated from the University of California Los Angeles with Bachelor of Arts degrees, in Fine Art and Art History. She also graduated from the Masters program at New York University Stern School of Business and Steinhardt School. Nina has worked at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), the Hammer Museum, Stanford Medical Center, Christie’s, Bonhams, Casey & Associates Art Advisors, and Restoration Hardware.
In the last few years, Nina accessed her own energy, independence, and creative skills to pursue several entrepreneurial ventures: she is currently using Airbnb as a platform to create a unique environment, blending her skills in art, design, hospitality, and events into one world. Hospitality has been a great way to connect with the community, but also to foster future business relationships.
Nina’s recent project took her from Japan to the Bay Area, where she was able to re-create a tatami room for well-being and healing. Nina created a brand called "Kuro Neko". She hosts events, including mindfulness workshops, artist talks, tea ceremonies, yoga, and meditation. All of these events have solely been organized by Nina using her executive knowledge and expertise from her prior work in both art and design. These events have been met only with positive feedback and reviews.
Nina’s experience in the art and design world has allowed her to carve a path in both exceptional customer service and hospitality. Customer satisfaction, whether internal or external, has had a huge impact in what she continues to do. Nina enjoys making people live their dream through educational experiences with a zen approach. It has been a long time coming for her to blend art, design, and hospitality into one world.
